Denver, Colorado – June 11, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
As Texas prepares to welcome global soccer fans for matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Kick It 3v3 Soccer is expanding its presence across the state with a multi-event World Tour designed to give players, families, and traveling fans an opportunity to participate in the sport beyond the stadium experience. Through a series of tournaments across major Texas markets, Kick It 3v3 Soccer is creating opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels to play in a fast-paced competitive environment while connecting with the growing excitement surrounding soccer in the United States.
The Texas expansion includes four events taking place throughout June 2026 in Baytown, Lewisville, Mansfield, and Galveston. The first tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 13 at Baytown Soccer Complex in the Houston market, followed by an event on Sunday, June 14 at Lewisville Railroad Park in the Dallas area. A second Dallas-area event will take place on Saturday, June 20 at Mansfield Complex for Sports before the Texas series concludes on Sunday, June 21 at Sandhill Crane Soccer Complex in Galveston. Together, the events create a regional tournament network that provides access for local players while also serving families and fans expected to travel through Texas during the World Cup period.

“Texas is one of the biggest soccer markets in the country, and with the World Cup coming here, the energy around the game is at an all-time high,” said Dan Stratford, CEO and Owner of Kick It 3v3 Soccer. “We built this series of events so players and families don’t just attend matches. They can actually play while they’re here.”
Each event is part of the Kick It 3v3 World Tour, a growing series of small-sided tournaments held in soccer communities across the United States. The organization’s 3v3 format is designed to encourage more touches on the ball, increased player involvement, and faster-paced play. By reducing the number of players on the field, the format emphasizes dribbling, passing, decision-making, and teamwork while creating an engaging environment for participants and spectators.
Open to players of all ages and experience levels, the Texas tournaments will include youth divisions ranging from U6 through U19, as well as adult men’s, women’s, and co-ed divisions. Participants have the flexibility to register as a full team or sign up individually, helping make the tournaments accessible to players who may not already have a complete roster. Each team is guaranteed four games during tournament play, while additional activities such as 1v1 challenges and 2v2 soccer tennis competitions will add to the overall experience throughout the day.
Kick It 3v3 Soccer describes each event as a full-day soccer festival that brings together local communities, traveling teams, and families in an environment focused on participation and player development. The format is intended to create more opportunities for involvement by encouraging frequent touches on the ball and continuous action throughout each match. The organization believes this style of play can help athletes further develop their technical skills while also providing an enjoyable competitive setting.
In addition to local competition, teams participating in Texas events will have an opportunity to earn points toward qualification for the Kick It 3v3 World Championship in Vail, Colorado, scheduled for July 24 through July 26, 2026. The championship event provides a national pathway for teams competing throughout the World Tour season and connects regional tournaments to a larger competitive structure.
“This isn’t just about one event. It’s about building a presence across Texas,” Stratford added. “By creating multiple opportunities in Houston, Dallas, and Galveston, we’re making it easier for players to participate while also building something sustainable long-term in the state.”
The Texas expansion reflects Kick It 3v3 Soccer’s broader strategy for 2026, which includes establishing clusters of tournaments in regions connected to World Cup host cities. As interest in soccer continues to grow across the country, the organization aims to provide more opportunities for players to stay engaged with the sport during a significant moment for soccer in the United States.
Registration for all four Texas tournaments is currently open through the Kick It 3v3 Soccer website.
